Cresswell's injury Confirmed-up to 4 months out
Let's hope is closer to 4 weeks than fucking 6 months.
Apparently a lot worse than initially mentioned.
Speedy recovery Cressy!

big blow but hopefully he's a quick healer. I wonder if slav will buy or promote the two kids we have who are pretty decent prospects?

I think Nordtveit or an academy player will step in.

Sickening news.

4 weeks is bad enough, but 6 months? Fuck right off.

What is the nature of the injury? I've seen nothing other than Bilic saying it didn't look good.

Re: Cresswell's injury
Nordvelt isn't a left back and Kyle knowle looked out of his depth the other day maybe we should recall Hendrie as he was brought in as the back up to Cresswell

Where has six months been mentioned?

Can't find any news on it.

Really hope it's not a bad one.

Page and Neufville are better than Knowle

Re: Cresswell's injury
Scorch I stuck it up but a mod took it down its from Hugh and his sources, yes I know

He said:“It’s not a minor injury and it could keep him out for a minimum of four weeks and and a maximum of six months.

“It’s very early days so impossible to be precise but it is a nasty injury and we will give more details as they become available.”

Excellent, season starts Thursday and we have no fullbacks. Top work from the club as ever.

Cheers!

Agree- seen as it's C+H, could be true or could (hopefully) be complete cobblers.

Is Knoyle the one who went to Wigan on loan?
Page is the young left back

Understood they had been looking at a couple of left backs from Walsall and Leeds.
Should have been done earlier but obviously is urgent now.

I take full responsibilty for this - not ten minutes before the incident my lad and I were discussing transfers and I mentioned that we had weak cover at FB, and said what happens if Cesswell takes a whack and is out?

Gutted.

CandH sources are accurate and we are apprehensive but it doesn't look minor. We await the scans in the next day or so good luck Aaron. dg
